General Safety Rules

  1. Familiarize Yourself with the Premises:

    • Locate all fire exits, staircases, and the elevator.
    • Learn the layout of your floor and key communal areas such as the Community Kitchen, Community Laundry, and Lounge.
  2. Respect Fire Safety Measures:

    • Never tamper with fire alarms or extinguishers.
    • Do not block fire exits, staircases, or corridors.
  3. Be Mindful of Electrical Appliances:

    • Use only approved electrical devices.
    • Switch off appliances when not in use.
  4. Report Hazards:

    • Notify Ronal Hananto or staff immediately about any safety concerns, damaged equipment, or hazards.

Fire Safety Procedures

  1. Fire Exits:

    • Each floor of the building is equipped with two staircases as fire escapes, located at opposite ends of the corridors.
    • Follow the illuminated "Exit" signs to locate the nearest fire escape.
  2. Elevator Use:

    • Do not use the elevator in the event of a fire.
  3. Fire Drills:

    • Fire drills will be conducted regularly. Participation is mandatory.
    • Treat every alarm as if it were real.
  4. If You Discover a Fire:

    • Sound the alarm immediately.
    • Evacuate the building calmly and quickly using the nearest fire escape.
    • Assemble at the designated meeting point: Outside Main Entrance.
    • Do not re-enter the building until authorized.

First Aid

  • A fully stocked first aid kit is available in the Admin Office on the ground floor.
  • House staff trained in first aid: [Names and Contact Information].
  • For minor injuries, seek help from the Building Manager or House Parent.
  • For emergencies, call 999 and notify a staff member immediately.

Elevator Safety

  • Do not overload the elevator.
  • Report any malfunction to the Building Manager.

    • Ensure doors are securely closed after entering or exiting.
    • Do not let unknown persons into the building.
  2. Personal Belongings:

    • Lock your room when leaving.
    • Avoid keeping valuables in plain sight.

    • All visitors must sign in at the Admin Office.
    • Visitors are not permitted after [curfew time].
